Fabric Robotics is the trading name of Fabric AI, company number 16064143, United Kingdom. Fabric AI is the controller of personal information collected for the purposes described here.

This policy covers our website, the Project ARYA waitlist and newsletter, and enquiries sent to our company email addresses. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact support@fabricai.co.uk.

2. Information we collect

Newsletter subscriptions. When you join the Project ARYA waitlist, we collect your email address and your request to receive updates. Our newsletter provider, Buttondown, processes subscription and confirmation records. Your IP address may also be passed to Buttondown to help prevent abusive signups.

Messages you send us. If you contact our team, we receive your email address, any name you provide, and the contents of your message and attachments. Please only send information relevant to your enquiry.

Technical information. Visiting a website involves sending information such as an IP address and browser request details to its hosting service. Our signup service temporarily uses IP addresses and request counts to limit repeated attempts. We do not ask you to create an account, provide payment details or supply sensitive personal information to use this website.

3. How and why we use information

We use your email address to send the Project ARYA updates you have requested. The legal basis is your consent. We ask you to confirm your email address before activating your subscription. Joining the waitlist is optional.

We use enquiry details to respond to you and manage the conversation. We rely on our legitimate interests in communicating with people who contact us and running our business. Where an enquiry is necessary to take steps towards a contract at your request, that may be the relevant legal basis instead.

We use limited technical information to deliver the website, prevent spam and protect our services. Our legitimate interest is maintaining a reliable and secure website. We may also retain or disclose information where necessary to meet a legal obligation. We do not use this information to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Service providers and sharing

We use Buttondown to manage subscriptions, send confirmation messages and deliver newsletters. Website hosting and email service providers also process information needed to provide their services. Access should be limited to what is needed for those purposes.

We do not sell newsletter subscriber lists. We may disclose information where required by law, to respond to a valid legal request, or where necessary to establish or protect legal rights.

Buttondown is based in the United States, so using the newsletter can involve processing outside the UK. Its data processing agreement describes contractual safeguards, including the UK Addendum for relevant transfers. You can contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data. Buttondown also publishes its own privacy policy.

5. How long we keep information

We keep newsletter subscription details while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we stop sending marketing updates. Limited records of your choice may be retained where needed to respect it, document consent or meet legal obligations.

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle the conversation and any related business or legal matter. The appropriate period depends on the nature of the enquiry, any ongoing relationship and applicable legal requirements.

Signup rate-limit records are held temporarily in server memory, with a ten-minute attempt window. Expired entries are removed during later requests or when the process ends. Hosting and email systems may retain separate operational records. You can ask us about retention for a particular record.

6. Cookies, links and email preferences

The website does not currently add advertising or analytics cookies, or include third-party social feeds. Its signup form sends your details to our server and displays the result on this website.

Links to X, LinkedIn, YouTube and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. Those services may use cookies when you visit them.

Buttondown supports email engagement features such as open and click measurement. Their use depends on the newsletter account settings; you can contact us for details about the settings applying to a message you received. You can unsubscribe using the link in a newsletter or by emailing support@fabricai.co.uk.

7. Your rights and choices

Subject to the conditions in data protection law, you can ask to access or correct your personal information, have it erased, restrict its use, or receive a portable copy of information you provided. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests.

You can object to direct marketing at any time. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
